SAERTEX is one of the winners of the Deutsche Industriepreis (German Industry Prize) 2014

The success story continues: some four years ago now the mapretec research project was initiated, which was funded by the Federal Ministry for the Environment, Nature Conservation, Building and Nuclear Safety and supervised by the Project Management Organisation Jülich (PTJ):

the research objective was to achieve even quicker and lower-cost production of rotor blades using new production systems as well as adapted multiaxial structures (NCFs). The three partners - the Institute for Integrated Product Development (BIK) in the Department of Production Engineering, University of Bremen, AREVA Blades GmbH (Stade) and SAERTEX® - now have every reason to be proud of being rewarded for their efforts. A renowned expert jury of professors, scientists, industry representatives, experts and specialist journalists awarded the project 2nd place in the category of "Research & Development" within the framework of the now renowned INDUSTRIEPREIS 2014

“Companies in the German-speaking world are outstandingly well positioned where international competition is concerned” Rainer Koelmel, initiator of the INDUSTRIEPREIS and managing director of the Huber Verlag fuer Neue Medien GmbH, congratulated the winners. “They are able to compete successfully thanks to their innovative strength”. The INDUSTRIEPREIS was awarded this year for the ninth time.
