Conserving resources with and at SAERTEX
One of the key success factors in sustainable engineering is achieving minimum weight while simultaneously maximising component quality. Both are possible using lightweight construction methods facilitated by SAERTEX products. Conventional materials such as steel, aluminium, concrete and wood are being replaced by our cutting-edge composite materials made of glass, carbon and aramid fibers, delivering a significant reduction in the consumption of fossil fuels. Environmental impact is simultaneously reduced through the consequential reduction in emissions.

Companies that make a contribution to CO2 savings with their innovative products are also committing themselves to an active policy of environmental protection. An environmental management system focused on the continuous improvement of environmental performance has been established at SAERTEX for many years. This has earned us multiple “Eco-Profit” awards. But at SAERTEX, we are doing even more. Although energy consumption at SAERTEX is already relatively low, we still endeavour to operate in the most climate-friendly way possible. Our efforts here include the calculation of our individual product and overall corporate carbon footprints for use as internal planning tools.
