SAERTEX CUSTOMER H2X CELEBRATES THE LAUNCHING OF THE NEW SHIP “FeliX”
SAERTEX customer H2X, which is part of the French iXblue Group, celebrated the launching of their new ship “FeliX” in Marseille on June 21, 2016. The famous sailor Stéphane Le Diraison was the godfather of the new ship.
The H2X shipyard performs refits and new constructions of single and multi-hull motor yachts and sailing yachts. The project of the new ship is an excellent example for the usage of composites in hydrographic vessels, which are usually made of steel or aluminium. For this project H2X discovered the advantages of using SAERfix®. The new ship will be used for oceanographical, biological and hydrographical work in the oceans.
