Reinforced profiles for Brazil's energy infrastructure: ENMAC, a leading manufacturer of high-performance fiber composite profiles, relies on SAERTEX glass fiber fabrics for the production of crossbars and structural profiles. Great mechanical properties, shorter production times and added stability: a challenging project in the energy sector was realized.
The project focused on the development of particularly rigid yet lightweight structural profiles for applications in energy transmission and distribution. The aim was to improve the mechanical properties and adapt the component design to increasing requirements - with clearly defined customer specifications in terms of load capacity, safety and quality.
For the implementation, ENMAC used SAERTEX glass fiber fabrics (NCF), which were specifically integrated into the pultrusion processes. The flexible yet very stable fabrics could be optimally positioned, allowing the profiles to be reinforced with pinpoint accuracy. The material convinced not only with its mechanical advantages, but also with its good processability in the production process.
In addition, SAERTEX offered comprehensive technical support, which assisted ENMAC in the successful implementation - from material selection to joint process optimization.By using SAERTEX reinforcement materials, ENMAC was not only able to meet the requirements of its customers, but also significantly improve the performance of its products. The result: a consistently stable and efficient production process, combined with high component quality and mechanical performance. Thanks to the close technical cooperation with SAERTEX, the company now benefits from shorter cycle times, greater production efficiency - and above all: satisfied customers.
