ISO 14001 recertification

Environmental management at the Saerbeck site certified again

In January, the annual ISO 14001 audit by DEKRA was successfully completed at our site in Saerbeck. The recertification confirms the effectiveness of our environmental management system and the consistent implementation of environmentally relevant requirements in the audited areas.
The audit also identified specific areas for improvement, which we are now implementing in a targeted manner in order to further improve our environmental performance. The DIN EN ISO 14001 standard forms the internationally recognized basis for systematic environmental management and the continuous improvement of environmentally relevant processes.

In addition, SAERTEX was awarded the ÖKOPROFIT company award for the eighth time this year. The municipal program supports companies in the structured implementation of environmental measures. Among other things, the focus is on reducing water and energy consumption, reducing waste and increasing material efficiency.

The successful recertifications underline the importance of environmental management at SAERTEX and also serve as an incentive to continuously develop existing processes.
