Reliable production of thick fiber composite structures - high-performance boats need high-performance materials. Foils are among the most important components, especially for racing and sailing boats. They reduce water resistance by lifting the boat out of the water - for more speed, efficiency and stability on the water. At the same time, they are exposed to high loads and must function reliably while remaining as light as possible. This places high demands on materials and production. The biggest challenge lies in production. Thick fiber composite structures are difficult to infuse in a controlled and reliable manner. At the same time, conventional processes such as autoclave curing are often energy-intensive and limit efficiency. This is precisely where the collaboration with Crazy Lobster comes in. Material, process and application are specifically coordinated to enable a stable and reproducible infusion process for thick foils. Crazy Lobster is a French company that specializes in high-performance composite components for boatbuilding applications. The focus is on modern foil solutions for racing and sailing boats, combined with a high level of engineering expertise and practical manufacturing know-how.
Lightweight construction with maximum material efficiency - How can lightweight construction be implemented efficiently and economically - without unnecessary material waste? RealComposite provides a clear answer to this question. The company, based in Mäntyharju, Finland, specializes in the development, manufacture and assembly of highly robust composite components. Together with SAERTEX, a solution was developed that not only improves component performance, but also considers the entire use of materials - with the aim of using resources as efficiently as possible.

Structural covers using the LRTM process - Every detail counts in boatbuilding. Even covers such as hatches and hatch covers affect weight, stability and durability. Piedmont Composites & Tooling, the largest supplier of LRTM components and tooling on the US East Coast, develops such structural components. The basis for this is the close cooperation with SAERTEX USA and the use of SAERcore.
