SAERTEX RECEIVES FIRST ECOVADIS ESG RATING

SAERTEX announces that the company has been awarded the Bronze Medal by EcoVadis. This award recognizes SAERTEX's outstanding efforts in the area of sustainability. The entire SAERTEX Group has received a good rating, placing it in the top 35% of companies within the EcoVadis rating system.

The SAERTEX vision "Innovation for a resource-saving future" underlines the company's commitment to become a little more sustainable every day. Thanks to consistent efforts in recent years, SAERTEX was awarded ISO 14001 certification for environmental management last year.

The efforts of all SAERTEX employees and management in the area of environmental protection and sustainability have now also been honored with the award of the bronze medal from EcoVadis. This award applies to the entire SAERTEX Group with all 16 international locations.

EcoVadis is a globally recognized benchmark for CSR audits of companies and provides reliable sustainability ratings. The assessments are based on a wide range of indicators and cover the areas of environmental, social and governance (ESG). The EcoVadis rating method is based on international sustainability standards and is carried out by recognized experts. The four topics of environment, labor and human rights, ethics and sustainable procurement are weighted according to the industry, country and size of the company.

Encouraged by this recognition, SAERTEX is determined to further intensify its efforts in terms of sustainability and to have these continuously reviewed.
