Yes, the fabrics are suitable for all common resin systems (epoxy, polyester, vinyl ester, etc.). Special combinations are available on request.

Laying with fiber orientation 95 -100 % one direction (0°) to achieve maximum strength in a specific direction.
What types of fibers does SAERTEX process?
Mainly glass fiber, carbon fiber and aramid - also hybrid mixtures depending on customer requirements.

What materials does SAERTEX offer?
We work with glass fiber, carbon fiber and aramid fiber, in combination with different resin systems. We also have a range of special products such as the SAERTEX LEO or SAERfoam
Are glass fabrics more sustainable than carbon?
Glass fibers are cheaper to produce, easy to recycle and in many cases require less energy to manufacture. They also enable durable, low-maintenance components.
When are glass fabrics the right solution?
When good mechanical properties combined with high cost-effectiveness are required - for example for large series, structural components in the construction industry or robust leisure products.
When are heavy tow fibers useful?
In cost-intensive industries, carbon fibers are more economical - with good performance at the same time, especially in series applications.
What is the difference between HT, IM and HM fibers?
HT = high strength, IM = higher modulus than HAT fibers, HM = maximum stiffness. The selection depends on the desired component property.
