Lightweight construction champion Chinook: SAERTEX carbon non-crimp fabric for high-efficiency vehicles

Once a year, international student teams search for the world champion in the development and realization of so-called headwind vehicles. The Canadian team "Chinook ETS" from the Montreal University of Technology (École de technologie supérieure (ÉTS)), supported by SAERTEX USA, also competed in the Aeolus Race 2016 in the Dutch coastal town of Den Helder. Since 2009, Chinook ETS has been developing and building a vehicle that is able to utilize headwinds and ambient winds as a source of propulsion and energy. SAERTEX USA supports the École de technologie supérieure with the provision of carbon fiber fabrics.
