Thanks to its specific composite solutions, X-Lite is a brand for competition and performance. Multiaxial hybrids (carbon glass and aramid glass) from SAERTEX are used to produce the outer shell of X-Lite helmets. Carbon fibers provide lightness and stiffness. They are mixed with glass fibers for the mechanical properties. Aramid fibers are also used in some models to prevent certain impacts and the risk of perforation. NOLANGROUP and SAERTEX are still exchanging solutions, opportunities and developments in the composite market in order to innovate with the best possible quality and to continuously drive developments and optimizations: the key to success in racing and leisure!
The motor racing department represents the history and heart of the company. The successes can be traced back through the impressive collection of legendary helmets. In this department, specialized technicians prepare the models for a team that currently consists of around 80 racers who compete in competitions such as MotoGP, the Superbike Championships and other championships. These riders have included Casey Stoner, Jorge Lorenzo, Carlos Checa and now Marco Melandri, Danilo Petrucci, Alex Rins and Chaz Davis. Thanks to their victories, NOLAN can now look back on 67 World Cup wins. Many of these helmets are fitted with multiaxial fabrics from SAERTEX.
