SAERfix® to repair a dilapidated piping system

After some technical discussions and calculations, there was no doubt: GrupoNavec and SAERTEX had the best solution to solve this urgent problem. For this project, GrupoNavec made the technical calculations and asked SAERTEX to produce a carbon biax (+/-45° layers) with 1028g/m². We produced this material using SAERfixEP.

However, it was not only a technical decision that led to the implementation of this project, but also the speed of reaction required due to pressure from the local government to show that "something was happening". In fact, while the scope of the repairs was being defined, similar situations arose in other places in Madrid: suddenly the earth disappeared due to the pressure of the water escaping from some old pipes in the city.
