This unidirectional carbon NCF is one of our specially developed material solutions for applications with high laminate thicknesses. The flow-optimized carbon fabric aims to avoid dry spots in the laminate and significantly improve component quality - with maximum compressive strength, potential savings in resin consumption and good drapability.

Better protection against dry spots in the laminate
Reliable impregnation is crucial in the production of laminates with medium to high component thickness - especially in load-bearing structures. Incompletely impregnated fibers lead to weak points in the laminate and impair the performance of the component.
Our Steady Plus UD has been specially developed to meet this challenge:
- Optimized textile architecture with high permeability for even resin distribution
- In addition, excellent mechanical properties in terms of compressive strength, compression and tension
- Ideally suited for laminate structures up to ~70 mm (120 layers)
