New name, same quality: Devold becomes SAERTEX® Baltics

In order to improve its global offering of lightweight materials for its customers, SAERTEX has taken another step towards a globally unified brand. Devold AMT UAB, a member of the SAERTEX Group since 2014, changes its name to SAERTEX Baltics UAB.

DEVOLD is one of the world's leading companies in the market for multiaxial fabrics. The company was founded in Norway in 1990. Like SAERTEX, DEVOLD produces technical textiles made from glass, carbon, and aramid fibers for customers throughout Europe. Its production facilities are located in Lithuania. In 2014, the company became a member of the SAERTEX Group. Since then, the focus has been on process harmonization, standardization, and the mutual exchange of know-how within the SAERTEX Group. Now that these processes have been successfully implemented, the next logical step is being taken. SAERTEX will further strengthen its international orientation and the advantages of its global network in order to present itself as a unified brand with customer-specific solutions for a wide range of requirements on a global level. Another step in this direction is the change of the company name from Devold AMT UAB to SAERTEX Baltics UAB. This underlines the internationally oriented positioning and customer-oriented product range of the entire group.

"The integration into the globally known SAERTEX brand and the resulting positioning perfectly illustrate our ambitions for globally available services and solutions in our area of textile reinforcement materials in lightweight construction."

The renaming will take effect on May 1, 2021.
