Stronger supply chains for a sustainable energy future
SAERTEX has developed a customized solution for its customers and set up a new warehouse near Fortaleza, Brazil, in collaboration with logistics service provider SNZ Soluções.
This strategic move is aimed at optimizing the supply chain of high-quality fiberglass fabrics for Aeris, a leading Brazilian manufacturer of rotor blades for wind turbines. The improved flexibility and speed of material deliveries will make it possible to meet the increasing demands of the wind industry more efficiently.
For many years, SAERTEX has been supplying the wind industry with innovative fiber composite materials that are used for ever longer rotor blades and larger wind turbines. Our multiaxial fabrics, also known as non-crimp fabrics, reinforce the webs, spars and shells of rotor blades, contributing to the efficiency and durability of these important components.
In order to optimize the supply chain and ensure faster and more flexible material delivery in Brazil, SAERTEX has now built the new warehouse. "Due to the geographical distance of our SAERTEX production facility in Brazil, the new warehouse is a great improvement for us and our partners. We can significantly shorten delivery times and considerably increase our efficiency," says Rocco Belforte, Managing Director SAERTEX Brazil.
We look forward to facing the challenges of the wind industry together and continuing to offer innovative and sustainable solutions for lightweight construction.
