How SAERTEX is shaping the path to future-ready composite solutions
For SAERTEX, JEC World 2026 was all about Planet Composite. The approach: bringing technical requirements and increasing expectations of sustainability closer together.
The event clearly showed the changes the composites industry is facing. Alongside new applications, regulatory topics, data availability, and transparent processes are becoming more important. For companies, this means sustainability is increasingly a requirement for market access.
For more than 40 years, SAERTEX has been developing textile reinforcements for various applications - from wind energy to energy-efficient lightweight construction in aviation, transportation and industry. Planet Composite bridges the gap between application and responsibility and shows our contribution to composite solutions that are both technically strong and future-ready.
One part of our presence at the event was a presentation during the Composites Exchange Sessions, held together with PLAN8T and TÜV Rheinland. The focus was on how regulatory requirements can be translated into practical and verifiable solutions - especially regarding data structures, assessment systems, and independent verification.
This presentation fits into the broader approach of Planet Composite: supporting customers on their path to Zero Waste, Zero Emissions, and Zero Pollution.
