The SAERTEX success story began in 1982 with a bold idea:<\/strong> technical reinforcement materials as stitched fabrics, known as non-crimp fabrics (NCFs)<\/a>, instead of conventional textiles and using existing expertise to create completely new products.

The German textile industry is in crisis. But for Bruno Lammers and Gert Wagener, one thing was clear: giving up was not an option. With courage and a clear vision, they founded SAERTEX Wagener GmbH & Co. KG in Saerbeck - with the aim of producing technical textiles made of glass, carbon and aramid for lightweight construction.
