Ces textiles de renforcement sont transform\u00e9s en \u00e9l\u00e9ments de construction renforc\u00e9s par des mati\u00e8res plastiques, appel\u00e9s composites, principalement dans l'industrie \u00e9olienne, la construction de bateaux et de navires, le transport et l'industrie automobile et a\u00e9ronautique, et remplacent de plus en plus souvent des mat\u00e9riaux de construction plus lourds comme l'acier ou le b\u00e9ton. Devold a des sites de production en Lituanie et aux \u00c9tats-Unis.
