SAERTEX Family Enterprise: Launching the next generation.

SAERTEX – the global leader in the development and manufacturing of multiaxial fabrics (Non Crimp Fabrics) for fibre-composite parts - was, is, and will remain a family-owned and run business with its own tradition.  

Company-founder and managing partner, Bruno Lammers, prides himself on continuity and is glad that – following his son Ralf, who has already been playing his part in SAERTEX‘s success since 2009 –his twin sons Klaus and Simon Lammers have also found their way into the company.

Since the summer of 2014, both have been exploring the various technical and sales areas in order to get to know the tasks, clients and employees of the SAERTEX companies across the globe. Klaus Lammers is currently working at headquarters in Saerbeck having successfully graduated in Engineering Studies with emphasis on technical textiles. His brother Simon, who has a degree in Business Studies, is currently becoming acquainted with multiCom in Huntersville, North Carolina, which is a US-subsidiary of SAERTEX.

Bruno Lammers reveals, “Obviously, I enjoy seeing my sons delving into the company and really involving themselves in the continuation of SAERTEX as an independent family business.”

Besides getting to know the company, the next generation should also have enough time to discover and develop personal inclinations – and to prepare themselves step by step for forthcoming tasks in the management of the company group.

Although the elder Lammers stresses that he himself isn’t thinking of giving up, “I still have so many ideas for us – together with our customers – to continue developing the industrial light-weight construction sector even further. And I would like to be a part of that.”
