Three dimensional fabrics from SAERTEX with layers oriented at 0° and 90° together with reinforcing Z fibres running through the entire thickness of the fabric. Also available in the form of 3D bars in thicknesses of up to 50mm.
Substance that supports the impregnation properties during a closed component manufacturing process. See also SAERcore and SAERflow.
SAERTEX fabrics, also known as NCFs (Non-Crimp Fabrics), are characterised by their stretched fibres inside the individual layers, which optimally absorb mechanical forces such as pressure and tension. SAERTEX fabrics are available as unidirectional, bidirectional and multiaxial technical fabric designs. Depending on the fibre type, weight per unit area and angle-ply layer combination, various mechanical strengths can be achieved.
