One of the focal points at this year’s exhibition will be the “STEEL TO COMPOSITE – MAKE IT WITH SAERTEX” campaign.
This involves the unique combination of material expertise and component services with which SAERTEX specifically addresses users who would like to switch their component material from steel to a lightweight construction. At Composites Europe, SAERTEX will show visitors some impressive solutions as well as an example from the boat and shipbuilding sector. This year, SAERTEX has chosen this theme and will present it for the first time at the Product Demonstration Area (PDA), Hall 8A, Booth D36_A.
During the trade fair, the SAERTEX Group – which has locations all over the world – will also exhibit innovations and applications that will further optimize the efficiency for vacuum infusion, RTM and similar processes. Based on the slogan “FASTER, BETTER, LIGHTER – GO FOR EFFICIENCY”, the family company is presenting practical solutions that help to make designs and components even lighter and make processes even faster and more cost-effective. We can use an impressive example to show you how our materials can achieve weight savings of 50% and reduce carbon emissions. Discover new carbon lightweight construction solutions in the “Ship of the Year 2016” in Norway.
Another highlight of Composites Europe 2016 in Düsseldorf is the new special-purpose area on the theme of multi-material lightweight construction and hybrid solutions: the Lightweight Technology Forum. Our plant manager in Stade, Jan Nommen Ebsen, will discuss the topic of switching from steel to composites in a talk on Tuesday, November 29, from 4:20 to 4:40 PM.
The entire SAERTEX team is looking forward to exciting and interesting discussions at this year’s Composites Europe in Düsseldorf. We look forward to welcoming you at Booth G20.
