SAERTEX is looking back at three successful days in Paris: At the JEC Composites Show, which took place in the French capital from April 13 - 16, SAERTEX received visits from countless clients and interested parties in the wind, automotive and aviation industries. The upward trend in the composite industry was unmistakable, underlined by numerous fascinating trade fair talks and concrete projects.
The innovative product SAERfix EP had already made a name for itself in the run-up to the show: it is used to evenly apply any reinforcing materials in shapes, and is being employed by PN Rotor GmbH in Stade for the first time in wind rotor blade production. In Paris, the process was nominated for the Innovation Prize 2010 in the "Wind Energy” category by international industry association JEC Composites. In the end, SAERTEX was awarded third place. In the meantime, the process has also been certified by Germanischen Lloyd and, thanks to its savings in time and costs during the application of reinforcement textiles to vertical shapes, has taken the wind industry a significant step further.
The new product SAERfoam celebrated its premiere at JEC Paris: As a replacement material for expensive foams, SAERfoam offers an excellent price-performance ratio. It is used for sandwich structures, and, as a result of the targeted performance parameters, has mechanical characteristics comparable to those of expensive foams.
The JEC Composites Show in Paris is one of the world’s leading specialized trade fairs for the composites industry. The exhibition presents a comprehensive overview of the entire composite materials value chain — from the production of raw materials and composites to downstream services. With its countless conferences, technical and scientific forums, workshops and seminars, the trade fair provides information about all relevant subjects and trends.

As a medium-sized company situated in an attractive landscape SAERTEX manufactures products which are used within the environment protection as well; we feel especially obliged.
