The use of water aerators for the reduction of the water consumption in the sanitary area, the optimization of the lighting in storage and production as well as the organization of the waste separation in order to guarantee efficient utilization:  These are the core measures with which SAERTEX participated successfully in the ECOPROFIT project.

ECOPROFIT not only protects the environment, but also the budget of the participating companies: Over the past year, more than 11,000 Euros were saved at the SAERTEX head office in Saerbeck. The total of 16 participating companies from the Steinfurt District saved more than one million Euros.

At a recent ceremony, North Rhine-Westphalia's Environmental Minister Eckhard Uhlenberg awarded SAERTEX a certificate which recognizes the company as an outstanding ECOPROFIT operation.
