At the JEC trade fair, which took place from March 24 to the 26 in Paris, SAERTEX offered visitors impressive demos of the performance of its products. Together with Magnum Venus Plastech (MVP), a large American machine supplier, presentations of composites production using the “RTM” process (resin transfer molding) and vacuum infusion were given.

SAERTEX textile fabrics and a simple foam core were used to produce a car top carrier, for example. The upper portion was made with vacuum infusion from SEARcore BX600/PP25HF/600 B and a honeycomb core. The lower part was produced using the RTM light process along with SAERcore SF 450/PP18/450B and a PVC foam core.

MVP supplies companies around the world with RTM machines. In Europe, the most well-known manufacturers, such as Matrasur or Plastech, are among the US company’s clients.
