Bruno Lammers, Executive Director of SAERTEX GmbH & Co. KG, was named Honorary President of the JEC Composites Show 2009. The JEC Composites Show trade fair, the largest event of the composite materials industry, will take place March 24 - 26, 2009, at the Porte de Versailles in Paris (France). Germany has been named the official host country. The host country traditionally provides the Honorary President of the trade fair.

The worldwide leader for trade fairs in the industry offers a complete overview of the production chain (raw materials manufacturers, representatives of the processing industry and end customers). With the appointment of Germany as the host country, the significance of the German market for the composites industry will be impressively emphasized. Germany profits from its strong automobile market (10.75% of worldwide production) and from the likewise dynamic markets in the areas of wind energy, shipbuilding and aeronautics. Nearly 300 companies from these areas will be represented at the trade fair, and some 4,000 visitors from Germany are expected.
