The Confederation of Indian Industry (CII) awarded SAERTEX India the "National Award for Excellence in Energy Management 2011". The award acknowledges the "All Composites Bus", which is made from SAERTEX fabrics, as an innovative and energy-saving product.  The jury consisted of participants in the "Energy Management" competition of excellence, held by the CII in Hyderabad from August 24-25, 2011.

The objectives of the competition are to recognize and award "outstanding achievements" in energy management in industry and facilitate the sharing of information by energy-efficient companies. The competition is meant to motivate other companies to similar outstanding achievements and contribute to the reduction of CO2 emissions through goal-oriented energy conservation initiatives.
