Enjoying the best weather for football, the teams competed for the SAERTEX Cup on the SC Falke Saerbeck pitch on the weekend of 3 June. 11 works and neighborhood teams from the Saerbeck company and the town played against each other. More than 300 onlookers followed the matches. A family-friendly supporting program, with a bouncy castle, coffee, cakes and sausages, catered for a successful festival of football all round. The proceeds of the fun and fund-raising tournament will be equally divided for the benefit of the SC Falke Saerbeck Sports Club and the Saerbeck Rainbow Group. The Rainbow Group supports disabled people and their dependents.

After an exciting final, the trophy was awarded to the SAERTEX Group’s “Management” team. The “Veltrup” and “Berkemeier” teams won second and third place and “Goldstrand 11” came fourth.
