20 per cent more exhibitors, 20 per cent more floor space, ten per cent more visitors: COMPOSITES EUROPE set new records this year.  SAERTEX was present at the international trade fair, which took place from September 27 - 29 in Stuttgart, and likewise experienced positive results: great discussions, interesting projects, and a stable market. In economically uncertain times, the composite industry still defies the specter of recession.

Quality is one of the most important competitive factors. The drape test, a procedure newly developed by SAERTEX, encountered a great deal of interest from visitors, as expected. The process determines the drapability of fabrics and can be used to test the arrangement of fibers after the draping procedure.

The next COMPOSITES EUROPE trade fair is to be held in Düsseldorf October 9 – 11, 2012.
